Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Dracula, The Tudors), Liv Tyler (The Lord of the Rings) and young Les Misérables actor Daniel Huttlestone are all set to star in the coming-of-age story London Town, says Screen Daily.
Co-produced by Cargo Entertainment, Dutch Tilt Film and Killer Films, the film is a music-infused story of a teenage boy who goes to London to find his estranged mother after she sends him a cassette tape of The Clash’s White Riot.
Derrick Borte, who previously directed 2009s The Joneses, is helming the film with the screenplay coming from Kirsten Sheridan and Sonya Gildea, with a rewrite by Matthew Brown. Filming to scheduled to kick off this summer.
